Accountability · nobody is expecting the drawing

Drawing alone is the part that fails

Search for an art accountability group, a partner, a Discord, and you find people looking for a witness rather than a tutor. That witness is what this programme is.

Company exists in this niche. Daily reporting mostly does not.

what the alternatives offer

A drawing-habit app states the case plainly: drawing alone, with no prompt and no community, puts the full weight of motivation on you.

DrawTogether's paid challenge gives a weekly critique, prompts and a participants' chat around ten minutes of drawing a day. Attendance is not reported by anyone.

The 100 Day Project provides prompts by email and a hashtag, with no group and no record of who kept going.

how it runs

A hundred days with witnesses

01The same three-task format for everyoneWritten in the morning, answerable at night. A shared format is what makes other people's reports legible to you and yours to them.
02One report, every evening, into the groupTwo lines. It is the smallest obligation that still counts as being expected somewhere.
03Silence becomes visibleA log that stops is obvious in a room where everyone files daily. That visibility is the mechanism, and it is what solo practice cannot manufacture.

the shape of it

What being watched changes

frame 1

Reporting to strangers feels awkward and slightly performative. It stops feeling that way roughly when the first bad day gets reported.

Day 1–10

Reporting to strangers feels awkward and slightly performative. It stops feeling that way roughly when the first bad day gets reported.

Day 30

You read other people's misses and keep going after your own. The group's main effect is making an ordinary week look normal.

Day 100

A hundred reports filed and a set of people who know what you have been working on, without anyone having taught you anything.

Three tasks each morning. One report each night. A hundred days of art.

Questions about the group

Is this a Discord server I have to keep up with?

The obligation is one report a day. Reading everything anyone writes is optional and most people do it in a few minutes.

Do I get a dedicated accountability partner?

You get a group on the same hundred days rather than one assigned person, so your run does not end when one partner drops out.

Does anyone respond to my reports?

Often, though nothing obliges them to. The reliable part is that the report is read, not that it is answered.

Is there a live call?

The core is written. Tasks in the morning, a report at night, both in text.

Do you review my drawings?

No. We hold the structure and the company. Technique and critique are somebody else's product.

A hundred days with people on the same count

Leave an email and we tell you when the next group opens. Nothing is charged on this page.

  • A daily report that somebody actually reads
  • A group on the same start date, not an assigned partner
  • Visibility when the log goes quiet

We write once, when the next hundred days begin.
