Parents · interrupted days

The quiet hour is not coming back this year

Practice advice assumes a room nobody enters and a morning nobody needs you in. Neither exists right now, so the daily task has to be built from the day you actually have.

why practice stops here

Your time is not yours to schedule

day 100

Evidence that something of your own held through a hundred days of everyone else's schedule.

how it runs

Three tasks in the morning, one report at night

01Write tasks that survive interruptionTwo minutes, standing in the kitchen, is a legitimate entry. The structure does not grade it.
02Report after bedtimeTwo lines, once the house is quiet. That is the whole obligation.
03Sit with people in the same yearOther parents' logs make the small version of the practice look normal, because it is.

the shape of it

What a hundred days tends to look like

1of a hundred

Working out which two minutes of the day are reliably yours. Usually not the ones you expected.

Day 1–10

Working out which two minutes of the day are reliably yours. Usually not the ones you expected.

Day 40

A stretch of bad nights arrives. The practice shrinks rather than stops, which is the point of writing it down.

Day 100

the shape of this market

15 minutes

A teacher-led challenge is built around a fifteen-minute daily sit and live sessions at fixed times.

Reasonable questions

What if two minutes is all I can do?

Then that is the task, written down, and it counts the same as anyone else's.

Are there live calls I would have to attend?

No. Everything is written, on your schedule.

What if I miss several days in a row?

You write it down and continue. The count is of days you showed up, and it does not reset.

Is this therapy?

No, and it is not a substitute for care from a professional.

Do I need a quiet room?

No. Several people in any group practise in kitchens and parked cars, and say so in their reports.
